For 30 years the Canadian vessel M.V. Northern Ranger—or Ranger, as it is affectionately known by locals—has tirelessly navigated narrow straits and unpredictable weather along the remote Labrador coastline. This short documentary explores the visual and sonic spaces of the vessel, as passengers and crew are united on a long journey home.

This short symphonic documentary offers a glimpse into the unique religious co-existence found along No. 5 Road in Richmond, British Columbia. Highway to Heaven takes audiences into many of the temples, mosques, and churches that call No. 5 home, revealing unity despite difference across these diverse cultural spaces. In a world struggling with religious violence and intolerance, the film crafts a gentle portrait of a rare landscape using attentive imagery and an acoustic tapestry of prayer.

A filmmaker searches for the eight winds of the Mediterranean on the island of Corsica. Using found footage and employing 16mm hand-processing experiments that attempt to expose its ethereal subject, the film brings audiences to abandoned churches, cemeteries, and ravaged beaches in its quest to find meaning in that which is invisible and has neither source nor end.
